Hi,

I want to create multiple accounts with the same emails address. I have used a plugin to do this and its working fine when creating users using WP Admin area and default WP registration form but when I am registering the user using toolset user registration form its showing duplicate email address error "Sorry, that email address is already used!".
From where I can disable it and able to register multiple accounts with same email address.

Hi, there's no public API for disabling this validation. Are you using a publicly available plugin? If so, I could try to investigate and see if there's a way to solve the problem. Let me know the URL where I can find this plugin on wordpress.org

Hi Christian,

Here is the plugin URL : https://wordpress.org/plugins/allow-multiple-accounts/

I would appreciate the time estimation.

Okay I don't see anything obvious in their documentation that will help us get around this problem. I will escalate this to my 2nd tier support team to see what they recommend. It may be considered a compatibility issue, or possibly a feature request.
Normally they will escalate compatibility issues to the compatibility team, but this plugin hasn't been updated in 4 years and is untested with the latest versions of WordPress. I'm not sure what the decision will be but I will let you know what I find out. I usually have feedback within a day, so probably by tomorrow I will be able to give you an update.

Thanks for the response. I have checked the plugin with the latest WP version and its working fine. Please try to fix it. Will wait for your positive feedback.

Based on feedback from my 2nd tier team, we will not address this as a compatibility issue or bug. WordPress does not intend to allow you to use the same email address for multiple accounts, and Forms works within those parameters. Also, this plugin is basically abandoned for the last 4 years.

If you'd like to see multiple Users with the same email address supported, feel free to submit a feature request over here: https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/
However, since this is directly against core WordPress guidelines, it most likely will not be implemented.
