[Closed] All taxonomies have disappeared and we cannot recreate anothers

This support ticket is created 3 years, 1 month ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I deactivated all the plugins and themes but I no longer see all the taxonomies created and I can't recreate any I still have this message
You cannot use this slug because it is already used or it is a reserved word. Please choose another slug.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

That is really strange. You are getting the following error message "You cannot use this slug because it is already used or it is a reserved word. Please choose another slug." because there is taxonomy with same slug already exists.

Can you please share admin access details and tell me what taxonomies are you missing? Are those taxonomies created using Toolset?

I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I can see the error with the staging site you shared but there is no concrete evidence that why this error is caused with the error logs.

Is it possible for you to send me duplicator copy of your site?

I just created you a package with duplicator you can download it in the BO
For information the initial site is hosted by godaddy here hidden link but I have the same bug

That why i created this copy hidden link but i don't find why.

I've tried to create a new taxonomy "Student Types" and I'm able to create it successfully.

Have you made any changes to server configuration or anything?

I haven't made any changes to this version, I don't understand.
We can recreate some but the ones I had created before are still not visible

Do you think it can come from automatic updates?

There is nothing related to automatic updates as far as I can see.

The one that already created should not be allowed to recreate it but I wonder why the ones which is already created is not displaying on the taxonomy listing page.

Did you created any posts with those taxonomies - if no, what if you try to delete the existing taxonomy from the database.

I still have the bug on the production site and I still don't understand what happened...
And why the taxonomies that have disappeared are not visible even though they are in the Database

Can you please share login details of your production site as I want to review the review the value of the option name value of the optoin "wpcf-custom-taxonomies" in wp_options table.

You will have to access the database table "wp_options" table and try to find the option name "wpcf-custom-taxonomies" and check what values it has.
