This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
When click the SUBMIT button on any of my CRED forms, it takes absolutely forever to submit.
Solution:
It was because the page it was redirecting to after the submit, has some very complicated views on it and that page takes a long time to reload.
If I change the CRED form submit settings to "Keep displaying the post" - it submits quickly.
This support ticket is created 7 years, 1 month ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.
