Hi,

I have tried to migrate the website hidden link built with Toolset + WPML plugin to a new domain (suity.vacations).

I have followed these steps:
- move files and db to new server
- generate new key for Toolset and WPML
- unregister plugin from backend and register again with the new key

Atm all the pages are blank, I've tried to resave the permalink setting etc. but the problem is still there.

You can see the problem at: hidden link (the password to access the frontend is suitymelons99@)

I need to fix the problem asap, the website is for a client and I did't think the migration would lead to a big problem like this one.

Hope you can help me.

Thanks.
M.

Hello, can you tell me more about how you migrated the site? Moving the files and database to a new server alone is usually not sufficient to migrate a site effectively. The database contains URLs that are specific to the domain and server structure of the original site, as does the wp-config.php file. A simple find-and-replace of the database dump SQL file to update those URLs/domains is likely to break something called serialized data structures, causing unexpected problems. You can read more about site migration here in this WordPress support article:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/moving-wordpress/

So exactly how did you migrate the database and files - did you use a tool like Duplicator or All-in-One WP Migration? If not, is it possible to try one of those tools now?

Oh I was just poking around and found that there was a blank Toolset Layout assigned to Pages. Disabling the Toolset Layouts plugin brought back the design of Pages and most of the other pages I've seen look good...Maybe that plugin was not active on the original site and activating it on the new site was the main problem?

Care to review the site now and see if disabling Layouts was sufficient to solve the problems you've seen so far?
