[Resolved] After user form has been submitted, when I tryed login (wpw-login-form), the fie

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
When I've filled the Cred Create User form, I jump to the login page. I want "Username or Email" automatically filled in login form.

Solution:
We have already submitted feature request to handle this and to improve it going forward. But currently it works as is.

If you need more robust login form only, you can look into other plugins that offer front-end login forms, that will allow you to add a form and you can redirect user to that 3rd party form page after CRED form is submitted:
- https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/front+end+login+form/

I am trying to: to create user form and then to login to site with new user credentials.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: - Not what I want and hope to see. It's nearly, but not perfect.

Instead, I got:

When I've filled the form, I jump to the login page. And I see that automatically the "Username or Email" field have the meaning (have some symbols) of the field "First name" that I've put when I've filled the user form. So when I put the password, the site told me that user name is faild. Of course when I found the mail I see the login is the nick of my e-mail. And I've connected finally to the site.

But do you have any suggestion how to create user form that the field "Username or Email" after the filling the form, would have had other meaning than field "First name"?

So when people filled the user form, then jump to login page, and trying to connect to site, then they only need to put password, and don't change the field "Username or Email". It would be cool that the field "Username or Email" automatically had the meaning of "e-mail" field which user put when he was filling the form. So he only put the password and successfully connected to site without doing any other movements.

Hi Rostislav,

Thank you for contacting Toolset support. I can see what you are trying to achieve here, actually this auto-username of firstname form was not meant to be populated or we didn’t intentionally added this option, it just happens as a side effect of the login form itself. Currently Toolset login form only is supposed to be work after user manually write his username / email and password into the form field.

We have already submitted feature request to handle this login and to improve it going forward. But currently it works as is.

If you need more robust login form only, you can look into other plugins that offer front end login forms, that will allow you to add a form and you can redirect user to that 3rd party form page after CRED form is submitted:

Thank you

Thank you very much for your help and support. I hope that in future you'll find the way to handle this login and to improve it.
I'll definitely use your suggestion about plugin from third parties. With all due respect - Rostislav.
