I have a Default Parent Layout that shows the site menu and footer areas, but require this not to be the parent for specific Child Layouts, such as the Login Page.

After creating a new Parent Layout (with a Child Layout section inside) I then go to the applicable Child Layout and try to select a new parent, however the New Parent layout is not available on the list to select.

Can you advise on what may be the issue?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - you can set parent layout from icon available just besides the layout name. See the following screenshot:

I had done this, but the Layout I wanted to set as a parent wasn't available on the list after clicking that icon.

I did however find a workaround by creating a new Child Layout whilst within the cell of the parent layout (as opposed to creating it separately, then connecting afterward)
