Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have a page with a view of my custom types. I'm trying to add the ability to sort by custom taxonomy. Every time I add a custom search field and choose the taxonomy, the site goes unresponsive. I get an error saying "Update failed. You are probably offline." I am definitely not offline because I have functioning internet in other tabs.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?
Here is the page where the trouble is happening: hidden link

What makes it worse is that when this error happens, my site somehow gets kicked off my routing, and I can't see it at all until I reset my network. It's still visible to people on other networks during this time.

Hi Stephen,

Thank you for getting in touch.
Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the website so that I can have a more detailed look at this for you ?

Please where applicable please provide me with a link to an example page where I can see the issue.

I've enabled the private fields for your next response.

Thanks,
Shane

Come on, man. I'm not making you an admin on my website. I tried to attach some screenshots to this message, but your forum won't let me upload more than 1MB. I'm just going to delete Toolset. It's been too much of a hassle. I guess that $70 is just gone down the drain.

Hi Stephen,

Usually in a case like this it's best for us to see the site or have a copy of the site to work with. If you want to provide a copy for us to look at you can follow the instructions in the link below.
https://toolset.com/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/

If you wish not to proceed then you can go ahead and close the ticket when ready.

Thanks,
Shane
