Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have multiple occupations, which I have added as taxonomies, I am trying to have them all added so a user doing a search can select the occupation they are searching for. After adding one (Carpenters) do not see how to add more.
Is there any documentation that you are following?
No
Is there a similar example that we can see?
No
What is the link to your site?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

The taxonomy terms you will have to add from the backend you can not add it from the frontend.

Or Do you mean you want to display all terms when you display the filter?

Hello Minesh, yes I want taxonomy terms / occupations to be displayed in a drop down so a user can select a Carpenter, electrician, plumber, landscape company...

Thanks
Chuck

Do you mean that - You want to display the taxonomy as dropdown with your form instead of multiselect?

Can you please share admin access details and and share few screenshots what exactly you want to display where that will help me to understand the issue and I will be able to guide you in the right direction.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Its still not clear to me what exactly the issue you are having. Can you please share bit more details and maybe share few screenshots that should help me to understand your issue.

Hello Minesh, I want to create a drop down menu with a list of my taxonomies, so when someone does a search they can select the taxonomy / occupation they are looking for. I do not see how to do this, and I don't know if toolset allows for this.

Please either tell me this is not a toolset option, or help me understand how to do this.

Thank You

Well - you should add the terms to your taxonomy "carpenter" from the backend (admin). Please check the following link and you can add as many terms as you want to your "carpenter" taxonomy.

I thank you for your help Minesh, but we are not communicating well with each other. What you showed was not the answer to my problem. I will need to resolve my problem with another Supporter.

Minesh won't be available for a couple of days. If you don't mind, I'll continue with you on this ticket.

I think that you have misunderstood how to use taxonomies. It seems that you have created 7 taxonomies for the post type Listing, when you should create only 1 taxonomy(Occupation) and 7 terms inside of it. Does it make sense?
Please remove the current taxonomies(Carpenters, Doors, Doors and Windows, Drywallers, Handymen, Electricians, Floors). Then create only one taxonomy(Occupation, or job type, etc.). And inside of this taxonomy, create 7 terms (Carpenters, Doors, Doors and Windows, Drywallers, Handymen, Electricians, Floors). Then, go through your posts and assign each post to its relevant term.

Then, get back to the view, delete the current filter, and create a new filter for the newly created taxonomy.

I hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions.
