I would like to display featured WooCommerce products first when the search page displays at hidden link.
Since sort order does not work with taxonomies like the product_visibility tax that featured posts use, we created a separate custom field called wpcf-pin-to-top and set the value of products that should be pinned to the top of the search to 1. Our problem is that this custom field does not appear in the search order options. I have assigned the custom field to both the post type (products) and the toolset view we are using (harrisonburg-inventory-filter)
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
As I understand you want to set the order by your view result using your custom field "wpcf-pin-to-top ". If that is correct - Can you please share admin access details and let me check why the custom field is not available with the ordering section.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
