When I show a single post I cannot add a simple 'Edit' link.

I have two layouts:
1) A 'Show Account Layout' (linked to the post type 'Accounts')
2) An 'Edit Account Layout' (unnassigned thus not linked to any post type)

When I edit the 'Show Account Layout' in the visual editor. I want to insert a link by selecting 'Toolset Forms' > 'Edit post link'

I expected to see:
a popup where I can select a layout that contains the edit form.

Instead, I got:
A blue message with the following text:
"Create a new Layout that will include the editing form. You can start from scratch or copy the template you use to display the content and modify it. Documentation on Toolset edit links • See all available layouts, or create a new one"

Tried:
- I followed the instructions at: https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/publish-content-from-the-front-end/forms-for-editing/
- I have tried both Content Templates and Layouts. Both do not work.
- I tried to directly implement: [toolset-edit-post-link layout_slug="edit-account-layout"]Edit[/toolset-edit-post-link]

Best regards,
Merien

Hi Merien,

Thank you for getting in touch.

What you needed to have followed is this instructions below since it is the one related to Layouts.
https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/publish-content-from-the-front-end/building-forms-for-editing-when-using-layouts/

I've went in and made the changes for you so the issue should now be resolved.

Thanks,
Shane
