[Resolved] Add text search switcher to Custom search Filters

This support ticket is created 2 years, 6 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have a View with 3 search filters that are dropdowns. I would like to add Search icon, that would "switch" to text search field (and hiding dropdowns), so the user could type text and search through the same data. Is there a way to do that?

Unfortunately this is not something that is natively possible with our Toolset plugins, however I managed to find an example that should be able to guide you through this.
