Hi there,
I would love to use toolset and especially toolset maps on more sites even. But based on the european gdpr law, it's not ok to load google scripts from google servers BEFORE the user has agreed. So in order to have a gdpr-compliant usage of google maps, you have to block loading of google scripts and only do so if the user has read and accepted your info on that.

To better explain, I have created an example with the WP Google Maps Plugin:
hidden link
There is a long text and an "I agreee" - Button and before that button is clicked, no scripts are being loaded from google.
Is there a chance, you could add that to Toolset maps? Because basically if anyone wants to obey that law, they can't use toolset maps any more the way it is now.
Thank you very much for listening! Looking forward to a reply!
Regards
Anja

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - we will check with the authorized person who knows the GDPR laws and if we find that we need to add terms and conditions we will update our Maps plugin accordingly.

Thank you very much! I am pretty sure NO ONE who wants to comply to GDPR will be able to use maps any more.
Because if you embed a google map, google is able to collect data from your visitors. And for that, you need their approval. It's not enough to just describe the process in your privacy notice.
This is also a good example of how it is supposed to be done:

I (and surely countless other people) will be very happy if this is implemented.
Thanks again!
