Add custom post dynamically to menu

This support ticket is created 3 years, 10 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I have a custom post type named portfolio that I am using as a proxy for user profile as wordpress.

When user registers, a custom post is created using the user_register hook and CRED user registration form.

However, I want the users to access this portfolio post in the menu. As this will be the only post they would have under their name, (as I won't have any front end form to add new post of type 'portfolio') I was wondering if there is a way to populate the post url in the custom menu link in wordpress.

Never mind. I found a solution.
