[Resolved] add category filters to blog page

This support ticket is created 5 years, 3 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

hello—
in the past i have used a different plugin to achieve the look i want here:

i now use toolset for these kinds of layouts which you can see here:

how can i get those category filters, like in the first example, to appear above the grid in the second example?
also, i will not need pagination as this website will have less than 20 news posts.

In order to do this you will need to create a custom search archive .
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/front-page-filters/#custom-search-archive

However you won't be able to have it exactly like the link below

Though you will be able to have the filters on the archive page to filter the results.
