Tell us what you are trying to do?

I would like to adapt the existing layouts that my site's WordPress theme is using to some or all of my custom post types. I know you can do it with Layouts, but rather than spend time creating the different layout options, why not just use the ones that are already used by the posts and pages on the site?

Currently, when writing a standard post or page entry, I can select whether I want it to use the full page layout, or the classic layout with no featured image, etc., by simply selecting from a dropdown in WordPress editor. I want to port that dropdown onto all my CPTs. Is it possible?

Is there any documentation that you are following?

No.

Is there a similar example that we can see?

No.

What is the link to your site?
