I am trying to: Get the accordions to open again.

I expected to see: A list of closed accordions that can be opened by clicking the <a>-element holding the post title.

Instead, I got: Closed accordions that wont react to clicks.

Thank you for the credentials.

I checked on the issue for you and found that your Accordion structure is different from the accordions for bootstrap.

I would suggest remaking the accordions following the default structure of bootstrap.

I've tested the default accordion structure from bootstrap on your site and this works fine.

I see, but why did it work before the updates then?

And I just tried to copy the structure from the bootstrap-resource site you linked to, but the accordions still won't open. :/

Any chance you could take a second look? Check if my changes should have been sufficient?

Hi Karoline,

Was it the theme that you updated that caused the issue ? In my tests on the duplicator package I saw that once I switched the theme then it works fine.

Secondly I see that the theme even breaks the default bootstrap accordion independently of our Toolset plugins. However can you confirm if it was the theme that was updated?

Yes, I think so. But it might have been affected by an update to wordpress version 5.8, or updates on WPML or Toolset around the same time. Sorry for the unclear answer. I've tried to backtrack my actions before the accordions stopped working, but can't say for certain. I definitely updated the theme though.

Hi Karoline,

Given that this an issue with the theme I would recommend that you get in touch with the theme's support as this update from the theme breaks the bootstrap CSS for accordions. I suspect that its not only the accordions but all the toggle functions for bootstrap.

The theme author will need to look at this to come up with a fix given that we rely on bootstrap to do the accordions.
