Access Control Custom Roles - Cannot login even when permissions copied

This support ticket is created 6 years, 6 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: Login from a custom role even when permissions copied

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see: WP Dashboard after successful login

Instead, I got: Request Timeout
This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase 'Connection Timeout'.

Hello.

The webhost solved the problem without having to do anything except interpret the webserver logs.

My ultimate interpretation... once the role and/or password is changed, need some arbitrary amount of time for it to take effect analogous to propogation(?). I was trying to login immediately.

UPDATE FOR DOCUMENTATION PURPOSES -

It seems like the problem of changing of the role or password via Profile or Users may lie with WP 4.9.7 itself.
