[Resolved] A way for users to select custom posts on the frontend

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user wants to display a list of posts with his views plugin and then allow the users to select multiple posts from that list and pass it to Contact form 7.
Solution:

Actually this is not possible and would require some custom code to achieve.

I want to set up a search system to display certain custom posts. I know how to do this. What I then need is a way for users to select some of the custom posts with a tick box. I then need to have the name of the custom post sent to a contact form such as Contact from 7.

Is there a way to do this?

Regards,

David

Hi David,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

I believe what you want is for users after the search is filtered to select the posts and add them to a form.

If so then no this is actually not possible unless some custom code is used in order to do this.

Thanks,
Shane
