[Resolved] A layout is being applied to a page everytime I change it every though I dont w

This support ticket is created 7 years, 2 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

I am trying to: change a page that does not have any toolset components in it

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see: A layout is being applied to a page everytime I change it even though I dont want it to be applied. I have to go into the page and "Select dont use a layout" to resolve it.

Instead, I got:

Hi Oliver,

Thank you for contacting Toolset support.

1. Please check that default layout is not applying from Toolset >> Settings >> Layouts >> What to display if no layout is assigned to content and Default parent layout sections. See attached screenshot.

2. Also Edit the Layout which is assigning on the page, go to: Toolset >> Layouts >> Edit layout, Change how this Layout is used >> Unassign from the page. See attached screenshot.
