[Resolved] A filter with a custom search is not updating with new content

This support ticket is created 7 years, 2 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: At the bottom of this page hidden link I have a custom search which has a filter called Institution. Institution is a custom field that is used for the custom content type called publications - it's a single line of text and more than one can be used for a piece of content. This has been working fine since I set it up until I recently created a new publication here: hidden link

This has a new institution Euratom used for the first time on the site. It's not appearing in the institution filter dropdown.

I expected to see: I expected that this institution would now appear in that dropdown list.

Instead, I got: The new piece of content appears in the list when I filter by EBRD which is the other institution field I have used for that publication.

Thank you for contacting Toolset support. I have taken a look at your page and issue. Please follow below steps to try resolve this:

1. I can see that you are using older version of Toolset plugins (Views, Types, etc). Please update ALL Toolset plugins to it latest official release. You can download it from your account:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

-- Also please update WPML to latest version 3.8.0 https://wpml.org/account/downloads/

2. Try to remove and re-add the filters / query filters again (specially Institution field filter). Sometimes re-adding filters resolves such issues. OR please try to create a new test View and see if filters work correctly in it?

3. If issue still exists, can you please also try to check it by deactivating all third-party plugins (except Toolset) and switching back to the Default Theme (e.g. Twenty Sixteen theme) to see for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
