We just published a brand new training course on building Real Estate sites in WordPress. It comes with a beautiful new demo site you can use for testing or as a starting point for your projects.
Watch a quick video overview of the new Real Estate training course:
Here’s a list of top features for real estate sites that you will learn how to create.
Create custom search for properties
A good custom search is the heart of a real estate site. People want to find the right property fast.
Add filters based on your custom fields, taxonomies, and relationships so they can select parameters and get results.
Don’t forget a map for ultimate usability.
Setting up post relationships
Connect your “properties” with “agents”. This allow you to easily display one when displaying the other.
Displaying related “properties” when displaying an “agent”
Displaying a related “agent” when displaying a “property”
Display custom list of real estate properties
Visually design your list of properties and display them anywhere on the site. As this is a real estate site, adding in a map is always a good idea.
Easily display property information
Toolset allows you to use dynamic sources in all your templates. It takes only a few clicks to display any post information, custom field, or taxonomy.
You can easily and beautifully display all property information.
Allow users to register and submit their own properties
Use Toolset forms to register users from the front-end. Then allow them to submit their own properties. Finally, create an account page and let them easily manage their properties and own profile information.

You can use these sites to follow our training courses, test the features or even as a starting point for your projects.

Hi, Michael, I apologize, the link changed at the last minute and it was wrong in the post. I just updated it to the correct one. Thanks a lot for raising this! 🙂
I hear about updates – I support and like!
Keep them coming.
Thanks for your support Diyan! Sure will, we have nice updates lined up! 🙂
When is the next version with any additional features we can expect from Toolset?
Hi! We plan to release the update next week. It will be a joint release for basically all Toolset plugins and fix more than 50 bugs. Besides that, it will bring a new feature that allows you to make a whole Container block into a link. This is something a lot of people were asking.
After that, if all goes well, we hope to release the next version of Toolset Blocks before the end of December. This release will bring 2 huge features, which together will allow you to use Dynamic Source in many many more places in the Block Editor. I cannot reveal more at this point but as I say, it’ll arrive very soon.
Hey Dario
“..make a whole Container block into a plugin” That sounds like a great idea. and the ability to use dynamic source is brilliant, this is something I really liked in BeaverBuilder so having it in Toolset Blocks further enhances its capabilities way beyond other blocks.
Please keep innovating the features for Toolset Blocks
Lee
Hi, Lee! I’m sorry, I mistyped that bit, I meant “make a whole Container block into a link” (not plugin). 😀
Nice…will be useful for a new project – thanks! With this type of site, open source maps are really important due to excessive costs for Google Maps on high traffic sites. Is there any news on OepnStreetMap integration – really need this!
Thanks
Hi, Joel! Actually, we had a discussion about open source maps recently at our development meeting and it was decided that we will do it! It was put on a roadmap for one of the upcoming development cycles but I honestly can’t give you an estimate at this point. But it’ll come! 🙂
Great to hear! That would be aweseome!
Great news, thanks Dario, the sooner the better please!!
From Chapter 4 onwards, I have many examples from the fitness center course? A little confusing.
Hi and thanks for the comment, I understand what you mean. The thing is, when you read each chapter in the course, the texts talk about Real Estates directly and what you need for building a usual real estate site. However, when you go into a specific lesson, let’s say about creating a template, then the text and video in the lesson are shared across different courses that talk about that specific feature/topic.
This is by design because creating a template for a Property is the same as creating a template for a Gym.
Additionally, having 4 or 5 duplicate pages about creating the same thing but with another example is something that would confuse people when searching for how to do something and Google also wouldn’t appreciate it too much. 🙂 Finally, creating these videos takes a lot of time and resources and it would be very hard for us to create 5 variants of the same video. We already have around 40 videos, so you can see where that would lead. 🙂
Does it include any type of MLS integration?
Hi, Scott! This course doesn’t cover MLS. Because MLS is a very broad subject/definition could you please elaborate a bit more on what you would like to achieve? Hopefully, I could give you a more precise answer then.
your demo is returning a 404 error ????
