Finally, Complete Documentation for WooCommerce Views
Looking to build an e-commerce site with Toolset? It’s going to be a lot easier from now!
We’ve very happy to announce a new full-length and detailed tutorial for building e-commerce sites with WooCommerce and Toolset. The tutorial takes apart our e-commerce reference site and then puts is all back together.
You will learn:
- How to build a products slider
- How to display products in a grid
- How to display products listings for specific store departments
- How to display single products with ‘add-to-cart’ buttons
- How to add a custom search to your e-commerce site
and more…
The e-commerce reference site uses our little WooCommerce Views plugin, which is now fully documented as well. WooCommerce Views does one little, but very critical task. It lets you insert ‘add-to-cart’ shortcode to Views and Content Templates.
Download and Use
If you’ve already purchased Toolset, go to your account->Downloads. Get WooCommerce Views and add to your site. Since you’re using our Installer plugin (right?), you can add it directly from your WordPress admin.
Learn How to Build E-Commerce Sites with Toolset
E-Commerce sites are pretty complex beasts. Indeed, Toolset and WooCommerce let you create them a lot easier, but there’s still stuff that you need to learn.
If you need help, I recommend that you first launch your e-commerce learning site. Then, follow our new e-commerce tutorial and see how everything works, right from within the WordPress admin.
Caridad and Luo will be happy to assist you in the forum, if you need any help.

Asides
(1) I’d like to thank everyone who commented with feature requests and ideas about Types. We’re getting back to adding new features next week and all the input we received is super-helpful.
(2) This week, we’re putting extra time into completing WordPress 3.5 compatibility for everything in Toolset. This includes Types, Views, CRED, Access, WooCommerce Views, Views Demo Downloader and our Views Base theme. There’s a lot of ground to cover and we’re nearly there. I’ll write again, in a few days, when we’re all done and Toolset is 100% ready for WordPress 3.5.
