wpv-conditional, Current user = UserID of another user profile page being viewed

Problem: The issue here is that the customer wanted to check if the current logged in user is the same as the author of the post they are viewing and if they are to display some information. Solution: To do this you will need to use the conditional shortcode below. [wpv-conditional if="('[wpv-current-user info='id']' eq '[wpv-post-author format='meta' meta='id']')"] |

Display thumbnails of repeating images with offset and limit options

Problem: I have a repeating custom field image applied to custom post type. I would like to display the images beginning with the second image and continuing to display 6 images. Solution: You can use the wpv-for-each shortcode to loop over the repeating images, and add a start and end value for offset and limit, like this: [wpv-for-each field="wpcf-coach-images" start="2" end="7"] [types field='coach-images' title='%%TITLE%%' alt='%%ALT%%' size='custom' width='65' height='50' resize='crop' separator=' ' ][/types] [/wpv-for-each] Relevant Documentation: |

Views not showing Posts if the author is of a lower role, when using Buddypress

Problem: Solution: In this specific case this was the issue. Toolset Access - the Toolset part to control who can see what, will not influence a post View, hence the issue here is usually on another part of the site. |
