Complicated site structure with combined categories and subcategories

Problem: I am building a complex website structure for a client, but Toolset is blocking single-character slugs like /p/ and /m/, which I need for certain custom post types. I am using workarounds like /pd/ and /dm/, but would like to know how to use the rewrite parameter to set the correct slugs. Solution: Toolset allows using single-character slugs. After creating the custom post type, go back to the edit screen and update the slug to your desired one-character slug, such as /p/ or /m/. This should work without needing the rewrite parameter. |

Single CPT content template is boxed (not full-width) with WPBakery Page Builder

Problem: I have created custom post types named "Offers of the day" using WPBakery Page Builder. After publishing a new post, the page appears boxed rather than full-width, and the post metadata is displayed at the top, which cannot be hidden. Adjusting Bootstrap settings in Toolset has not resolved these issues. Solution: Use a CSS code snippet to make the page full-width and hide the post metadata by targeting the unique CSS class generated for the custom post type: @media screen and (min-width: 1200px) { body.single-oferta-dnia-2 .container { width: 100%; } } Add "body.single-oferta-dnia-2 " to the beginning of any CSS selector to limit the CSS to that post type. |
