I'd like to display the sticky post first followed by the most recent posts. How can I do that using toolset views?
Solution:
I suggest you create two post views:
1) The first post view display those sticky posts, with filter:
Select sticky posts only.
2) The second post view display those non-sticky posts, with filter:
Select any post but the sticky ones.
Problem: Does Toolset use more entries in the postmeta table to save custom field values, compared to standard WP custom fields? Is Toolset scalable? Can we store custom field information in non-standard database tables?
Solution: In general 1 field = 1 postmeta entry, per post. Repeating fields create additional entries, per post. Toolset does store other information in postmeta, but it's not directly related to custom fields.
Some Toolset features can be slower when sites are very large, and a caching plugin can help. There is no simple answer to the scalability question.
Toolset does not support non-standard database tables for custom field values.
Problem: I would like to remove the spinner graphics from my View.
Solution: Use the Advanced settings in the Pagination area to turn off the spinner graphic. The original URL will remain in the page markup, but the image will not be loaded.
Problem:
post type with_front argument of rewrite should be false
Solution:
Types offer the option so that you can change the permalink structure for specific post type when you edit it.
To change the default URL rewriting option with CPT and you may try to play with that. you can find that at:
=> Toolset => Post Types => Edit post type => Under section "Options" you will find option rewrite, adjust your rewrite to /blog/ and save the post type
