Problem:

1. I very needed have the option of make conditional the grouped fields.

Most of case in a form you need to show this group fields if some checkbox or dropdown has certain option.

2. Other thing is to make possible use grouped fields in front just like any other field.

3. Other great thing to have would be the setup of width or % of the fields, to have more than one per line. (in the backende)

Solution:

1) I assume we are talking about the Toolset form in front-end, there is a built-in feature:

You can control display for form sections from Forms’s GUI. This will allow to create simple display logic, involving custom fields and taxonomy.
