I am trying to figure out how to show on a single map all markers from different post types (e.g. all restaurants, all train stations, all hotels and so on). I´m sure this is easy to achieve but I havent´t found a specific tutorial for this yet - am I overlooking something ? Thanx in advance.
Instead of limiting your view to 1 CPT just allow it to display multiple CPTs . This should allow you to have your Maps displaying the locations from the other CPT as well.
yes, I´ve been there before 🙂 ...when you are saying "Instead of limiting your view to 1 CPT just allow it to display multiple CPTs" where exactly do I make this adjustment ?
For example if you have a view that is listing Post Type A but you want it to list B as well all you need to do is go to the the Post Type selection and check B as well.
Are the different post types using the same custom field for the map ?
Yes, some had the same custom field name....so I renamed now an adress field of my custom post type (jobs) to "job-adresse" but it´s not showing in the dropdown, no matter what I do there are always just those 3 dropdown fields available ???
I'm happy to see that the issue was able to be resolved.
However since our support policy only allows us to handle one issue per thread I would advise opening a new ticket for assistance with getting the arrows.
Thanks,
Shane
