LOAD MORE button that loads more posts with ajax

I am looking for a way to implement a button that loads more posts with ajax within a view. Ive noticed there are a few threads on this with no resolution other than mentions of this feature being added future versions of the plugin - https://toolset.com/forums/topic/latest-on-load-more-button-feature/

As far as i can tell its still not a feature within the plugin.

is there not a way to simply hook into the same functionality as used by the infinite scroll functionality?

Do you have any tips as to how to do this myself? possibly using the javascript boxes provided on the edit view page?

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Unfortunately no this feature has not yet been implemented, however I do see on our internal systems feature request that this is something that is coming for our version 2.6 of views.

Regarding assisting with the coding of a custom solution for this i'm not able to assist with this 🙁 as i'm not aware of any solution that can work with our views plugin.
