This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I would like to create a rental property site that includes booking, calendars and reservations. Can this be accomplished with Types?

Solution: It might be possible to do something like this in Types with a substantial amount of custom code, but it's most likely more practical to look into a reservation booking plugin like WooCommerce Booking. The features you need will already be built.

I am building a site for a holiday rental property.

I need to have an availability calendar and booking system. It would be linked to woocommerce if possible.

Is this something I could do with Toolset?

If not, is there a plugin that you know of that plays nicely with Toolset, or possibly have any other suggestions?

Hi! It may be possible, but it would take a substantial amount of custom code and time to create a booking engine and calendar in Toolset. WooCommerce Bookings, made by the same company as WooCommerce, is designed for this purpose and comes with many of the features you would need built-in. At $250 for a single site, it's arguably more cost-effective than trying to build something so complex from scratch: https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/
