I am trying to: establish a content owner
From a design perspective somebody needs to own the post
and it is not always the poster. The owner needs to be available for a views query filter.

Also the poster could leave the company.

I visited this URL:

Hi Chris,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Actually this may be a bit difficult to achieve since the Post Owner won't always be the one creating the Post.

However you do have the option to add a custom field to the that allows the user to enter the name of the owner or use a taxonomy that allows the user to enter the name of the owner.

This will allow you to select the owner, additionally I would recommend some text to say that If you are the owner please select your name or select who is the owner of this post.

Please let me know what you think of this suggestion.

Thanks,
Shane
