Hi,

I'm looking for a solution to automatically set a 301 redirect when a custom post gets deleted.
It should redirect to for example my homepage. How can I accomplish something like that?

Is there a way to automatically create a 301 redirect when a user changes the post url?

Hi Christiaan,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Unfortunately the only solution for this would be a 3rd party solution. However searching through the wordpress plugin repository I was able to find this plugin below.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/auto-redirect-404/

This should be able to help.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane
