Spacebar not usable after shortcode in the Fields and Text Block

Symptoms

When adding a shortcode to the Fields and Text block it is not possible to add a space right after the shortcode by using the spacebar. This issue only happens in Webkit browsers (Chrome, Opera, Safari).

The issue is actually coming from TinyMCE and we rely on that fix. The issue has been reported on the following link:

Workaround

Add any character plus space after the shortcode and than delete that character.

Alternatively, you can use Firefox.
