“Passwords do not match” error when adding new user if Blocks is active

When adding a new user in the backend it may not be possible to complete the process because of a “Passwords do not match” error, even though only a single password field is shown at the time and hence the message makes no sense.

This can occur when Blocks is active, but it appears to be an intermittent issue that is difficult to reliably reproduce.

The issue arises because of a problem in WP core, and will be resolved when this WP ticket is fixed:


Temporarily disable Toolset Blocks plugin while adding users if you experience this problem.
