When using the Divi theme and designing a Toolset Content Template, it is possible to override the theme settings for posts displayed with the template, using the Theme Options settings in the template.
The layout options (e.g. whether to use the boxed layout, full-width etc.) have broken following a recent Divi update.
Until the issue is identified and resolved you will need to use CSS to overcome the theme layout styles and enforce the layout required.
