Symptoms

With Blocks, templates and Views offer a CSS editor to add custom CSS rules.

When visited on the front-end using Internet Explorer 11 the styles will not be applied and the following errors will appear in the console:

	
Invalid character.....wpvViewExtraCss.textContent = `/* ----------------------------------------- */

Unable to get property 'split' of undefined or null reference...toolset-common-es-masonry.js, LIne 1, Column: 2425

Workaround

Fixed in Blocks 1.3

    • A fix for this was recently submitted by the developers and will be included in the upcoming releases of Views and Blocks.
