- Improved front-end performance: each item in a View loop is now wrapped in a single element instead of two, reducing the HTML size and the number of elements the browser has to lay out. Saved content and styling are preserved.
- Improved performance of WordPress Archives built with Views by removing redundant query work.
- Improved performance of paginated Views over very large result sets: rendering one page no longer counts and walks the entire set.
- Improved View caching: dependent caches refresh exactly when their source content changes, and the View cache is rebuilt automatically on upgrade.
- Improved compatibility with WordPress 7.1: the Editor Max Width setting is honoured again in the iframed editor canvas.
- Improved compatibility with Divi 5: Views embedded through the Divi 5 View module render correctly.
- Fixed Single Field and Fields and Text blocks showing nothing inside a Content Template with a “View with” post selected.
- Fixed typing text next to a field in the Fields and Text block in visual mode on WordPress 7.1.
- Fixed the Fields and Views dialog not opening on the Widgets screen.
- Fixed placeholder markup from the Fields and Text block leaking into the saved content, and the inline toolbar overflowing in narrow blocks.
- Fixed custom CSS added to Content Templates being lost on sites with aggressive caching.
- Fixed missing styles for dynamic source dropdowns and generated block styles inside the WordPress 7.1 editor canvas.
- Fixed the Image Slider block initialising with no slides, which caused a console error and a flash of broken layout.
- Fixed the current user’s record being printed in the block editor page source.
- Fixed PHP 8.4 and 8.5 deprecation notices.
Note for sites with custom CSS targeting Grid Views: the .tb-grid-column wrapper is no longer output. Rules targeting .tb-grid-column should target .tb-grid > .wpv-block-loop-item instead. To keep the previous markup, return true from the wpv_filter_use_legacy_loop_item_markup filter.
