New features
Toolset Dashboard
The major change in this version of Types is the brand new Dashboard page.
The Dashboard is an overview of your custom content, showing what you have added so far and what is still pending. The table lists Toolset elements that are used for each post type.
If an element has not yet been created, a button to create is displayed. These buttons will be shown depending on which Toolset plugins you have activated and will automatically assign the new element to the current post type.
Other Highlights
Other features that were implemented into this release include:
- An option to hide the Front-end Display table shown when editing custom contents.
- Import and Export support for term fields and field groups.
- The ability to add term fields values when adding a new term.
- The ability to delete a field group and a taxonomy on their respective editing pages.
Bug Fixes
This release also includes a number of bug fixes. The most important are:
- An issue with field control pages that were not displaying all groups.
- An issue with fields that removed conditions when changing a slug.
- An issue with child post types not created by Types that could not be edited in a child-relationship table.
- An issue with names of post types and post field groups that were not being sanitized.
- Several issues with conditional display of field groups.
Hi! Nice update, but I would like to suggest adding upload for icons of the Types. As of now, the icons are only limited. It would be great if this will be implemented. Thanks!
Thank you for the suggestion Kris! This is not included in the current development cycle, but we will keep as a feature request for a future update.
Hi! One short question about translation, does the plugin has support for the wpml.org plugin? Thanks.
Yes, Types (and all Toolset plugins) is compatible with WPML.
