The issue here is that the user wanted to display 2 post types on a map with different markers.
Solution:
Yes this is possible, however I would recommend using 2 separate views. So what you would do is to place the Map on the page content template.
Then you will use the 2 separate views to provide the marker information. Now as long as the Markers are targeting the same Map id then they will be displayed on the map.
From there you can specify which type of marker to be used for each Post Type.
Problem: I'm having several problems where maps are no longer working. I see an error "REQUEST_DENIED - This API project is not authorized to use this API" and the map does not load. Custom field images associated with each post are no longer appearing.
Solution: Disable any custom code in your custom theme that loads the Google Maps API, because Toolset Maps will do this automatically. Check the database to be sure migrated URLs have all been updated correctly.
Problem: I have a Map View with Markers created using an address custom field. I would like to display a different Marker image based on the taxonomy terms applied to the post with the address field.
Solution:
Create three different Marker shortcodes and wrap each in conditional HTML. Test the slug produced by the wpv-post-taxonomy shortcode in the conditional like this:
Problem: I have several custom fields that I created in Advanced Custom Fields. I would like to control those fields with Toolset Types.
Solution: Simple custom fields are convertible, but complex custom fields like those that offer a selection or a date are not compatible with Types and must be recreated.
Problem: I have a slider View that contains content of variable heights. I would like to prevent the page contents below the slider from moving vertically when the slider paginates.
Solution: Apply a fixed height to each item in the slider and use CSS text-overflow effects to prevent problems with truncated content.
