Solution: Yes, it's okay to delete the installer plugin once you have your reference site installed. 	CSS and JS for whole site in Layouts? Started by: UrsulaM3313 in: Toolset Professional Support Quick solution available Problem: The issue here is that the user wanted to know if the Layouts JS and CSS is sitewide. Solution: Yes the sitewide css and js goes in the Layouts Css and JS editor. Its really a matter of personal preference because if you were to disable the Layouts plugin then the css wouldn't apply but if it was in the child theme css then disabling plugins wouldn't affect it. What I do recommend is that if the CSS is to target items independent of what is being used in layouts is to use the theme's custom css. 	Views vs Layouts questions Started by: UrsulaM3313 in: Toolset Professional Support Quick solution available Problem: The issue here is that the user wanted to know the difference between Layouts and Views. Solution: Usually we recommend using the layouts plugin if you want to customize the entire page itself including the content. With Layouts your able to add the different cells anywhere you want and even adding a sidebar to a page where there isn't one. When adding a view to the layout you will use the Layout cell, however adding the shortcode to a visual editor cell also works but your wouldn't be able t edit the view directly from the layout.		2	4	6 years, 3 months ago UrsulaM3313
