Problem:
The issue here is that the user wanted to know if it was possible to pass a CPT as shortcode parameter in views to let views know which CPT it should display.

Solution:
Unfortunately this is actually not possible since a view cannot be created or content added to that view without first selecting the CPT that the view is for on the post selection screen.

Problem:
How to change a filter for a checkboxes custom field to compare the checked options using OR instead of the default AND?

Solution:
Use the wpv-filter_query filter to modify the resulting meta query, specifically changing the relation to 'OR'.

An example of the code required would look something like this:
