Problem: I would like to remove most of the toolbar buttons from a CRED WYSIWYG field, but I would like to keep bold, italic, list, align and link.
Solution:
You can apply custom CSS to hide each element. Check in the browser inspector to find the appropriate CSS classes for these elements, then set the display attribute to "none":
Problem:
On older sites the client used the Toolset Starter Theme which involved created parent and child Layouts. That doesn't seem to be possible with the recommended themes such as Astra.
Solution:
Parent and Child Layouts were a feature of "fully integrated" themes, and is no longer recommended. To use Layouts to design the whole page using parent and child Layouts would require manually integrating themes.
Problem:
"Sorry, the content area was not found on your page" error occurs when trying to use the Elementor page builder with the Toolset Starter theme.
Solution:
Themes which are fully-integrated with Layouts—such as the Toolset Starter Theme—do not output the content using the standard the_content() function, and so are incompatible with Elementor.
Problem:
Can we disable heartbeat in WordPress and use Toolset?
Solution:
It is not suggested to disable heartbeat.
It is there because WordPress relies on it.
Removing it is equal to modifying WordPress core features.
We assume no responsibility if heartbeat is disabled and due to this bugs or issues appear.
It may work, or break.
