You will create a slider in the block edit experience by creating a View, that has pagination activated, and uses an AJAX updated pagination method (this can be set in the Views Block inspector)
You can use for this either Fields (images added to a post in fields) or Featured Images, in the View loop when listing all posts.
For a slider to look nice, you'd need to set pagination to one item a time.
For sliders with thumbnails and alike, the repeating field/gallery block is recommended instead, which will use Repeating Fields of every single post.

The issue was there is custom JS added to theme's settings that caused the issue and the custom JS was added at Genesis => Theme Settings => Header Scripts
Problem: I have a slider View that shows 4 results per page in random order. There is a warning message showing in the View editor screen that I should either remove pagination or remove random order.
Solution: I have requested an internal review of this error message. It seems like the message should clarify the potential problem here: results may appear multiple times on multiple pages when pagination and random order are used together in a View.
Problem: On the single post template, I would like the next and previous links to point to the next or previous post in the same category. Several posts will have the same publish date and time.
Solution: Use a custom date field to store the post creation date and time whenever a post is created.
