Problem: I cannot see Toolset settings in wp-admin. The page is blank and I see an error "There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions."
Solution: A fatal error is triggered on some Toolset pages in wp-admin when other 3rd-party plugins utilize the WordPress REST API. A workaround is available in the erratum post here, and the permanent fix will be included in the next plugin release.
Problem: The sort order of one of my Views is no longer accurate.
Solution: The Post Types Order plugin is causing a conflict here, setting the sort to be "menu order" instead of the View settings. You can try adjusting a setting in wp-admin > Settings > Post Type Order. Uncheck the "Auto sort" checkbox and test the results on the site.
With Astra theme, after save a layout, the “Theme Options” are overridden unexpectedly.
Solution:
It is a known issue, and has been escalated to our developers.
Currently, as a workaround, when you edit/create a layout, you can click the tab "Theme Settings", open the "Theme Options" according, then save the layouts. It should be able to save theme options correctly
Problem:
How can we create Views, listing posts, that can be searched by the Author of those posts, in the Front end?
It seems Toolset Views Search Filters do not offer author filters on the Front End!
Solution:
That's right, Author Filters on the Front end, or any other native Post Data, is not possible natively in Toolset.
