Problem:
A Toolset Form contains two select fields where the choices in the second field are dependent on what is selected in the first field. Is there any way to connect the two so that the second select field updates according to what is chosen in the first?

Solution:
This requires a custom solution, which would involve building an array mapping the relationship between the options in the two fields in PHP, and then passing that array to the front-end using wp_localize_script, and then using a bespoke JavaScript solution to connect the two select fields accordingly.

Problem: I have a generic select field with options populated by a View. When another field in the form changes, I would like to update the generic select field options by passing a different value into the View's shortcode attributes.

Solution: It's not possible to use a variable in a View's shortcode attributes like this because Views are rendered on the server-side, and they are not updated dynamically when CRED fields are changed. The only way I know of to do something like this is to include all the possible generic fields on the page, and use CRED Conditionals to show and hide those fields as needed. It is not possible to reload a View inside a CRED form based on CRED form selections like this.
