WordPress 6.8 introduces problem with support for table output format of Views block

Symptoms

Since upgrading to WordPress 6.8, editing a page that includes a View block whose output uses the Table format will show an error:

> Your site doesn’t include support for the “toolset-views/table-column” block. You can leave it as-is or remove it.

Workaround

We don’t have a workaround and are prioritising finding a fix.

In the meantime you may want to avoid upgrading to WordPress 6.8 yet, or—if you already have—you can use a plugin such as WP Downgrade to return to WordPress 6.7.2 until this is resolved.
