Toolset Layouts CSS and JS Files are saved repeatedly in the FTP /uploads/ folder

Resolved

Reported for: Toolset Layouts 2.4.1

Resolved in: 2.4.3

Topic Tags: Layouts plugin

Symptoms

When using Toolset Layouts and adding CSS/JS to the Layouts CSS/JS editor, then each time you save that CSS/JS, an new file is saved in your WordPress install’s uploads folder – in a new folder called ddl-layouts-tmp.
This allows you to navigate back in time, in the code you wrote.

Workaround

If you fear those files will overload the server, you can simply delete them but not the newest of each .css and .js files.
That will remove all “history” of the code (so you can not browse it back in time anymore) and leverage a little Server space.

We are looking into ways to avoid saving such files each time you press save in the editors, this has, however, lower priority.
