Remove unused “style” and “type” attribute from the style element

Resolved

Reported for: Toolset Views 2.5.2

Resolved in: Toolset Views 2.6

Symptoms

When creating a Content Template and adding extra CSS code, that CSS code is added inside a style element on the head of the page. This style element has a “style” or “type” attribute which is not needed according to the latest W3C HTML markup recommendations.

Workaround

This issue will be fixed in the next release of Toolset Views.

In the meantime, download this file, extract it and replace:

  • wpv-template.class.php in the /wp-views/embedded/inc/views-templates folder
  • wpv.class.php in the /wp-views/embedded/inc folder
