Inserting Post Reference fields into Toolset forms does not include parameters correctly

Symptoms

There is an issue where the dialog for inserting Post Reference fields does not include parameters correctly.

When inserting the Post Reference field into the form, the dialog allows you to sort the reference field options by the post ID, the post title and others. The default option available to sort the reference field options is the title. Also, by default, the inserted shortcode has no attributes for sorting.

The issue is that on the front-end, the generated Post Reference field is being sorted by the ID in descending order. However, the user interface implies that the field will be sorted by the title in ascending order.
