Symptoms

Currently, if you have a specific post type managed by Toolset Access, and you create a Post Group for specific posts of that post type, the Post Group permissions will be overridden by the Post Type permissions.

Workaround

This issue will be fixed in the next Toolset Access release.

In the meantime, you can fix this by downloading this file, unpacking it into your site’s ../wp-content/plugins/access/includes/ folder and replacing the existing Helper.php file.

  • Hey folks. This was supposed to be fixed in the next Access update, and I just updated and realized it re-broke the issue here. Is it safe to apply Helper.php to Access 2.6.1? Was there an issue rolling the fix here into 2.6.1?
