Fatal error when updating to Toolset Views 2.8 while using Toolset Forms 2.3.3

Symptoms

When you update to Toolset Views 2.8 you might encounter the following error:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Undefined class constant 'SCRIPT_TIPPY' in \cred-frontend-editor\application\controllers\asset_manager.php:190.

This problem only happens if you first update Toolset Views (before Toolset Forms) and use the WordPress native Plugins page to update.

Workaround

You can update the plugins using the Toolset Installer which will update all plugins simultaneously and avoid this problem. To access Toolset Installer, go to the Plugins -> Add New page and click the Commercial tab.

If you already see the error on your page please use the following steps:

1. Rename the current (updated) Toolset Views plugin found in your ../wp-content/plugins folder
2. Update Toolset Forms to 2.3.4
3. Re-activate Toolset Views
